Pha Yant, LP Chuen, Wat Ta Ee Buriram BE 2545
This is a very large and impressive Pha Yant which i have owned from new, for a very long time and is suitable for framing due to its size. Whats more it is highly sought after being very rare coming from a limited batch each with two temple stamps and the serial number, this being 138 from a total batch of 999. It is in A1 mint condition without blemish having been stored properly.
Not only scarce but very popular as it is said that this amuletic Pha Yant which was blessed at Phanom Rung Castle was witness to a fairy known as Nang Apsorn sprinling pollen dust on the objects being blessed.
Made of linen cloth with yant (sacred spells) and divinities inscribed on it’s surface. It would typ[ically be hung up in the house to watd off evil spirits , protect the householders from weapons, evil and danger whilst at the same tiime blesing the worshiper with luck and fortune. Devotees believe that the designs/devinities are invoked in times of trouble.
The spells are written in Pali using a Khmer version of Sanskrit lettering. This lettering is known as “Akara Khom”, or “Khom”. As to the origins of the designs, it is unclear as to where they came from, but it is known that “Yantra” existed long before the time of Buddhism, and that the Reussi (ascetic) played an important part in the creation of the Yant and their “Katha” (mantras). It is said that the reussi receives worldly knowledge from the Gods.
Different masters throughout the ages have developed to and added Yant designs of their own. It is considered that no Yant is actually invented by a human, rather that all yant exist and that their structure is a cosmic principle that was there from the beginning.The Yant is just “uncovered” by the master in this dimension.
You will rarely see this Pha Yant being offered for sale nowadays, it genuinely is that scarce. Prices of all LP Chuen amulets are rising on a monthly basis.

Luang Poo Chuen
Luang Poo Chuen, or officially called Luang Poo Chuen Tityano, was the former abbot of Wat Ta-ie, Burirum Province. He was (now deceased) probably one of the most famous monks in recent memory to have created a number of highly efficacious love and charm amulets that can truly be considered among the best.
An interesting monk who kept a very low profile for years. It was little known that he had mastered many arcane occult sciences and possessed deep mental power. This was all revealed at a relatively late time in his life and its only recently that this extraordinary monk has been acknowledged as one of the great gurus of our era.
He unfortunately passed away in BE 2547 but his legacy lives on and many are still being helped through his sacred amulets.
Luang Phor Chuen was yet another monk who extensively studied the ancient Khmer sacred sciences. In particular he is known to have spent considerable time at Khao Kulen, the mysterious mountain in Cambodia, where many other sacred monks are known to have originated.
What we do know is that he was born in BE 2461 as Chuen Srisode, in Swaisrisopon Province, Cambodia as one of seven children.
Aged 15 years he entered monastic life as novice in a Cambodian temple and was ordained a monk aged 20 when he was renamed Chuen Titayano. We know that he often went on pilgrimage into deep forests where he learnt from ascetics and other senior monks.

It is also known that he spent a considerable period of time at Khao Kulen, the location of a Khmer monastic school where he was initiated into powerful Brahmin magic, a place where many senior monks and ascetics would gather to learn and practice arcane occultism. Khao Kulen located in Siem Reap province and is thought very scared. During Angkorian era it was known as Mahendrapavata (the mountain of Great Indra) and was the place where Jayaverman II had himself declared chakravrtin (King of Kings), an act which is considered the foundation of the Khmer empire. Even today Kulen is home to holy men who continue to study and hermits/ascetics that live in ancient pagodas.
It was here that he met two senior monks who were to shape his destiny, namely; Luang Poo Ey and Luang Poo Dee both were an important influence on the young monk who learnt all that he could be taught including the science to create sacred amulets.
